JUST IN- Prosecutor Says Andrew Brown Jr. HIT Deputies With His Car Before They KILLED Him


Andrew Brown Jr hit the deputies with his vehicle, right before they fired final shots which killed him, mentioned the prosecutor.

The 42-year-old was recently shot dead by police officers in the state of North Carolina during the early hours of April 21st, confirmed latest reports. However, the cops are yet to release his bodycam footage, despite his family calling it an execution carried by the cops.

Meanwhile, a judge is still in the process of considering some final requests that will hopefully allow the video of the shocking incident go public on Wednesday.

However, Andrew Womble who is District Attorney mentioned to the judge during Wednesday’s hearing how he blatantly disagreed that Andrew Brown’s vehicle was at a halt when the shocking shooting incident began. Therefore, for the family of the deceased, this was termed to be a major characterization.

On the other hand, the FBI has recently launched a probe into the high-profile case that will look at the death with a more in-depth perspective on Tuesday.

Moreover, Andrew Brown’s family has also released their own independent autopsy, confirmed local media outlets. This autopsy report showed how he passed away after receiving bullets to his head. Brown was behind the wheel in his own home’s driveway when the incident took place.

Womble informed how the video showed that Brown’s vehicle made contact with law enforcement officers not once but twice before shots were fired and heard in the video.

“As it backed up, the car did make contact with the police officer,” he added, mentioning how the car stopped again. “Next, you can see that the vehicle moves in a forward direction towards the officers, making direct contact with them. It is only then that you can hear the shots being fired,” he mentioned.

Womble also advised how the police’s bodycam footage must be kept away from the public for one more month. This way, state investigators could make better progress towards a more effective probe towards the shooting.
