It was a gloomy day at Clwyd and Gwynedd Army Cadet Force as a 13-year-old cadet schoolgirl was found hanging in her bedroom.
Authorities discovered young Chantelle Jones inside her bedroom, around 6pm. Termed by many as one of the brightest and most popular schoolgirls on campus, the news spread like wildfire amongst loved ones. Reports confirmed how the horrifying incident took place at her home in North Wales.
Upon receiving the news, paramedics rushed to the scene to make an emergency rescue effort.However, to their dismay, she was pronounced dead around 6:35pm.
Meanwhile, the exact cause of the death is still unknown.But an inquest report explained how officers found the young teen ‘literally hanging’ and not conscious or breathing.
While she was pronounced dead by doctors at the hospital, there are reports that suggest how she ‘passed away’ while at her own residence. Moreover, initial investigations are still going on to determine the exact cause of death. But there are rumors that suggest that it might be a case of ‘self harm.’
As the news spreads amongst those that loved and cared for her deeply, people termed the incident as the most ‘tragic death.’ On the other hand, her teachers and fellow peers are still in shock regarding Chantelle’s death. For many, it’s just heartbreaking to think about how she will never return.
Tributes for the young teen keep pouring in, ever since her death. Likewise, hundreds attended a balloon memorial in her honor too.
Moreover, her school released a statement explaining how Chantelle had exemplary character and the best manners. She always showed others how much she cared. This was especially true amongst her very close friendship group.
The school went on explaining how the bright talent had great spirit as well as great potential. Likewise, they exclaimed how no family or community member should ever go through such a major loss. The heartfelt post ended with how they will miss the young cadet and that the school feels incomplete without her.
As one of the most popular fellows in school, she would have loved to bid farewell to her many friends Unfortunately, she never got the opportunity to do so.
