Miracles happen and we all believe in it, don’t we? Such an epitome of miracles was witnessed at the Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, Liverpool.
Call it a piece of good fortune or plain coincidence, but a six-month old baby left everyone awe-struck by defeating coronavirus.
Erin Bates is the little warrior that we need to acknowledge and honour. When she was admitted to the hospital for the diagnosis of COVID-19, she was already enduring a heart disease and lung dysfunctionality. She was fighting a bunch of humongous diseases at such a young age, and surprisingly she won.
When Erin’s parents took her to the hospital, they had very little hope left in them.
They were way too worried for their daughter as they knew what it’s like for a 6 month-old to battle a series of dangerous diseases. They loved their child so much that it was heart-rending for them to see her in this critical condition.
The doctors were also aware of the medical history this young fella possessed, so they were also not confident that she is going to survive something barely survivable aka the deadliest coronavirus. They had lukewarm faith that their expertise could save the girl’s life.
Erin, our brave girl, had all of them taken aback. He got on top of all these threats posed to her life and came out as a victor. It would not be an exaggeration to state, she has 100% recovered from her COVID-19 symptoms and is doing pretty safe now.
It’s no less than a miracle that a girl who’s just a few months old with a history of heart and windpipe issues has vanquished the coronavirus. Let’s pray she recovers from the rest of her ailments as soon as possible, and gives her parents a reason to smile.
