Two influencers in Bali had to pay the price for their bizarre and unwarranted behavior recently.
Local media reports confirmed how two influencers decided to act cheek and paint their face masks across their faces instead of actually wearing one in the first place. Unfortunately, officials in Bali caught the duo in the act and have no seized their passports as a punishment for their actions.
One influencer went as far as filming the other at a supermarket with the mask painted across her face, in an attempt to try and fool other people nearby.
The influencers were identified as Josh Paler and Leia Se who created the famous video at a supermarket in Bali. Here, the pair were seen wandering across the market’s aisles. Moreover, Leia ever tried to prevent herself from being caught by onlookers too, confirmed reports.
The influencer acted creative and opted to paint a large blue colored facemask over her entire face, making it appear as if she was really wearing one. The effect was similar to the popular blue-toned disposable mask, complete with evenly placed white lines that led to her ears while mimicking the straps.
However, the so-called out-of-the-box stunt was blatantly slammed by so many online viewers who called the duo out for behaving in a reckless manner and putting people’s lives at risk too.
Some people even went as far as referring to them as complete morons for coming up with the idea in the first place, especially during the times of a deadly pandemic.
After their video went viral, local media agencies in Indonesia confirmed how the duo’s passports had been confiscated for this act, with immigration authorities considering their deportation soon.
