According to media reports, the new President-elect will lay a wreath on the tomb of an unknown soldier at Arlington’s National Cemetry as a part of his swearing-in ceremony. This event will take place after his oath of office for the US Presidency.

In addition, the President-elect will be joined by former US Presidents Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama. This act will represent a show of solidarity and unity, commonly trending as “America United.”

On the other hand, Joe Biden reportedly told media outlets that he is not worried about having an outdoor-themed ceremony for his swearing-in event. This mega occasion will take center stage on the 20th of January. The shocking move comes as a result of the radical siege that overtook the US Capitol last week in DC.

Here, a group of angry Pro-Trump demonstrators staged a protest when the US president told them to ‘march towards Congress’ in Capitol Hill. In the same way, the rioters also swarmed the giant stands that were created specifically for his inauguration.

Right after the swearing-in ceremony and the military pass, followed by a review at Capitol Hill, the new President will head towards Arlington Cemetry. Here, his predecessors will reportedly join him in the Oval office.

Jill Biden will also accompany Hillary Clinton, alongside Laura Bush, Michelle Obama, and Vice President Kamala Harris with her husband Doug Emhoff. These members are all a major part of Joe Biden’s ‘America United’ inauguration theme.

With all eyes on Joe Biden, it will be the President-elect’s first few acts as the new US President, displaying acts of bipartisanship.

Similarly, the theme will also highlight President Donald Trump’s isolation as the outgoing President. The current US President confirmed last week that he wouldn’t be attending his successor’s inauguration ceremony and it was a decision that Biden certainly agreed with.
