Three deputies are filmed aiming their high-powered rifles at three black teen boys in LA as they receive a call from the boys on account of a spat as a homeless man tries attacking the boys.
As per the boys and a dozen witnesses and bystanders, the three black boys were minding their own business and they were unarmed, all they had were skateboards when a homeless man approached them asking ‘if they had any crack’.
Upon denying it, the unidentified homeless man got aggressive and tried to stab them with a knife and the boys, in their self-defense, protected themselves with their skateboard. He also tore the boy’s shirt off.
One of the boys called 911 for help but the cops, quite shockingly, aiming their high-powered rifles held them as prime suspects. The 9-minute video made by Tammi Collins, mother of one of the boys, is shared on the media in which several bystanders are pleading the cops to lower their guns while some others inform them that they are suspecting the wrong guys here.
A few minutes into the video, the cops are seen asking the boys to raise their hands in the air and one of the boys is seen getting down on his knees while an officer handcuffs him.
This resulted in an outrage on the site and social media as one woman, who was trying to help deputies realize the true story, was asked to back off by one of the officers.
The cops said the misunderstanding took place as they received a call from someone saying the boys are beating a homeless man with a deadly weapon. The boys were set free after an investigation in the police office as the cops detained them all.
While people are calling it a racist attack on the teen boys, the mother Miss Collin thinks her son will never be able to cope with the trauma he had today.
