Whoever said blondes have more fun was certainly not joking.
A woman is giving out her real-life experience details on how she never stood in a queue to buy her alcoholic drinks. Yes, according to her, the perks of being a blond bombshell were plenty. This includes free drinks on the house, skipping out parking lot tickets, and jumping the queues too!
However, Jodie Weston who also made an appearance on the hit show Rich Kids Go Skint is revealing the startling truth that she is facing, ever since she dyed her hair. While going from blond to brunette, Weston had no idea that her social experiment would actually bring about such a drastic change.
Jodie says she is beyond shocked by how a simple change of hair color from bright blond to dark brown has made on her daily life and activities. While the star didn’t actually dye her hair, but she did adorn a very serious brunette bob as a wig, which no one could tell.
As a disc jockey and influencer, Jodie is from London, UK. And she is baffled beyond belief at how no one even opens the door for her anymore. Before that, she even had a totally different caliber of guys who wished to date her or wished to chat with her.
The bold and beautiful 27-year-old wished to see whether or not hair color really affects one’s life and boy was it a rude awakening, by all means.
The British influencer adorned a brunette wig and headed off to do her local food shopping.
And the results of her social experiment were definitely something she wasn’t assuming. She explained the story with, “I decided to put on a shorter hairdo in a darker color during the lockdown. I really wanted to see who I attracted,” she mentioned.
“When it came to guys, I attracted more accountant type individuals or those with glasses on,” she exclaimed. And that’s when the 27-year-old, who likens herself to Marylyn Monroe, mentioned how people refused to help her as much as before. She laughed it off by saying that maybe they thought she had everything figured out as a brunette.
With darker hair, she gets fewer catcalls as she struts her stuff down the street too.In reality, Jodie is a born brunette who decided to go lighter for the rest of her life, after a breakup in 2014.
While there was nothing wrong with dark hair, she certainly agrees that blondes have more fun and perks too.And in case you beg to disagree, her social experiment is the perfect example.
