Grim Images Reveal Body Bags Stacked At Brooklyn Hospital in New York City


Frightening images have been revealed showing the real tragedy of that death toll at what is the epicenter of coronavirus epidemic in the U.

The shocking photos captured at Bushwick’s Wyckoff Heights Medical Center depict many dead patients on stretchers in body bags.

The death rate from coronavirus in New York City amounts at just over 2,400 with just over 64,500 residents coming down with the infection across the five boroughs.

Along with other city hospitals, Wyckoff Heights is being crowded, as patients with coronavirus replenish intensive care wards.

Hospital emergency staff can be seen in personal medical safety gear as they wheel the corpses from the hospital into a special refrigerator truck nearby serving as a mobile morgue.

The refrigerated containers could be seen in hospitals across the city and are a bleak illustration of the grim reality of hospital morgues now at full peak.

Within the wagon, hundreds of body bags in the makeshift morgue could be observed which were stacked on top of each other.

On Sunday morning, there were 4,159 coronavirus deaths in the larger state of New York which were 594 up from the day before.

Saturday a record 630 deaths have been confirmed. The Sunday figures represent the first time deaths over a number of days have fallen over 24 hours.

Governor Cuomo declined to suggest that ‘for the Empire state the worst was certainly over but added: ‘The pinnacle could be a peak and we could be on the peak now. You won’t know until you see the next couple days, does it go up, does it go down.

Cuomo has confirmed that the number of patients recovering from hospitals had actually risen, adding: ‘That’s fantastic news.’ Sunday Cuomo that there were 574 new hospitalizations-down from 1,095 on Saturday and 1,427 on Friday.

Last time fewer than 600 new hospital admissions have been reported, with 586, was on March 22.

Recorded cases of coronavirus were up about 8,000 to 122,031 in the state.
