The restrictions have come following the new peak of novel coronavirus cases in the state.

While justifying his orders in a recent press release, he said we are witnessing several people who don’t cover their faces in such times of crisis and consequently putting all of the national efforts to risk.

He further adds that the statewide strategy to give a new boost to the economy and call people back on their jobs can be successful if people cooperate with the state in following the health recommendations which are covering your face, washing your hands and exercising social distance.

Newsom also said that it is proven from the science that covering your face and washing your hands along with maintaining physical distance can minimize the potential risk of your beloved ones falling prey to the virus. This is also substantial to keep the local businesses and economy intact.

According to him, the state has not even come out of the first wave yet and he can see a second and more dangerous wave heading towards California. He showed his concerns about the public health system saying that the numbers of patients are not going up rather going down and the hospitals are on the verge of collapsing with the burden.

Thus, it is crucial to stay at home and apply standard operating procedures while stepping outside.
