Chicago’s Police Union Chief Says Cop Who Fatally Shot & KILLED 13-Year-Old Boy Is 100% Justified

Chicago’s Police Union Chief is defending the actions of the cop who fatally shot and killed 13-year-old Adam Toledo on March 29th.

The president of the police union says that the officer’s killing was not only justified but he also applauded the officer’s brave steps, calling him heroic too for opening fire.

According to local media outlets, Adam Toledo appeared to possess a gun that he held in his right hand. This was right before he raised both of his arms in the air. Therefore, that was the exact same moment in time when the officer opened fire.

John Catanzara, who is the President of the Fraternal Order of the Police, boldly exclaimed to the Chicago-Sun-Times, “he was 100% right in whatever he did.” In addition, he also spoke about how the young teen turned to hold a gun in his hand. And that incident took place in a span of eight-tenths of a mere second, he added.

“No officer has to wait to be shot at in order to respond in a manner that defends himself. There is certainly no obligation, whatsoever,” he again added.

Only recently, extremely disturbing and graphic bodycam footage was soon released by the state’s police department on Thursday, which showed the exact moment that the officer who was identified as Eric Stillman, shot Adam Toledo down, just last month.
