Georgia Cop Fired For Tasing Black Woman On Her Porch During Violent Assault


A police officer from Georgia was fired after reports claimed he tasered a woman on her own porch.

The young cop was guilty of violently arresting the woman on her own premises. Likewise, he refused to explain the nature of the crime or even introduce himself.

The former official from Georgia, Michael Oxford, barged into Kyndesia Smith’s home on August 18th. He was responding to a call from 911 regarding claims of property damage. Meanwhile, the footage of the harrowing scenes hit social media, going viral in seconds.

During the footage captured, Oxford tries to arrest the woman, who is sitting peacefully amongst a group of friends, on her porch. Suddenly things take an ugly turn as Smith tries to break free from the officer’s grasp. And that’s when he takes out a stun gun during the resistance.

However, none of the videos that were shared on Tik Tok, shared the events leading up to Oxford’s approach towards the woman. Furthermore, there was a press release that came out from Gwinnett County’s Police Station. It claimed that he entered upon receiving orders.

This was in regards to an emergency 911 phone call. The woman complained about how two people threw bottles at her vehicle. Moreover, they also threatened an assault on her as well as her young child.

Evidence in the form of CCTV surveillance showed how bottles came in flying. And that’s when one woman came in to retrieve that bottle, right before the police arrives. And that’s when she guides him towards the house where the bottle actually came in from.

According to the press release, Smith shouts at Oxford. Suddenly, he makes a warning that if she didn’t let him conduct his investigation, he would have no choice but to arrest her. However, in the footage, Oxford shouts at Smith, ‘Get on the f*cking ground, get on the ground.’

Oxford was removed from his duties and allotted an administrative role. And during this time, an internal investigation gets launched for Smith’s arrest. This includes how and why the officer used force with his poor conduct during the arrest.
