NY Gov. Andrew Cuomo Accused Of ‘S**ual Harassment’ For Years By Former Aide


New York’s Governor, Andrew Cuomo, is under the radar after a former aide accused him of sexual harassment for years.

The shocking news came in recently when Boylan, who served as Cuomo’s economic development secretary as well as special adviser, alleged her claims via Twitter. Currently, she is also running for Manhattan’s borough president.

“I could never ever anticipate what would come next,” she explained. “Would I be grilled for my work or harassed for my looks? This was the way for years.”

Meanwhile, Governor Cuomo denied the allegations abruptly. He made the denial via his very first public remarks, ever since the shocking news broke out. In his statements, he expressed how he felt every woman has the right to come forward and give their opinions. However, he also mentioned how these allegations were ‘just not true.’

Boylan did follow up her series of tweets with how she had no more interest in discussing the matter. She also failed to provide more specific details into the event of allegations. Moreover, she didn’t respond to the numerous requests for her comment on the subject.

On Sunday, Cuomo’s spokesperson denied all of the allegations put forward against him. However, the recent press briefing on Monday marked the first time that Governor addressed the issues.

“I totally respect every woman coming forward to address her issues on tweets. This includes any issues in the workplace. I support that. However, these tweets are simply not true,” he claimed.

Boyland voluntarily resigned from her post in the year 2018. And that was in the midst of scrutiny regarding her very own workplace conduct. Now, however, she completely trashed Cuomo with regards to calling her working experience as ‘the most toxic team environment.
