A woman is going viral after her kind-hearted gesture towards strangers turned into a nightmarish ordeal.
Standing in line at a McDonald’s drive-thru, a sudden generous thought struck her mind. And that’s when she decided to pay for the customer standing behind her in line. Unfortunately, she quickly regretted her decision. The reason was simply that the car behind her ordered a massive feast. Therefore, it wasn’t something that she anticipated at all.
Vinisha is a TikTok user who shared her kind-hearted gesture with her followers. While the incident took place last month, her video portraying the ‘random act of kindness got around 90,000 views instantly.
In the video clip, viewers get a glimpse of how Vinisha informs the cashier about her generous deed. “I’d like to pay for the car behind me,” she exclaims. Not knowing about the massive surprise in store, the cashier firmly nods. However, he does inform her how those customers ordered food worth a staggering $31.45.
Clearly, Vinisha is taken aback by the news. Her voice changes tones instantly, as she replies, “Debit please?” It’s no surprise how shocked Vinisha was by the amount. However, that didn’t stop her from performing her random act of kindness.
She turns towards her camera and says, “So I paid for the customer behind me. But I never expected my bill to be so high. Still, it’s my random act of kindness for the day and I encourage you all to do it.”
Surprisingly, the video is still going viral as viewers can’t get enough. Not only is the amount so shocking, but the fact that the TikTok user actually agreed to pay is also beyond believable.
And as you can probably expect, the comments kept on coming. One user wrote, “Your voice after hearing the total haha.” Another user wrote, “After hearing the bill you questioned your decision.” On that note, Vinisha wrote, “Haha honestly, but I wasn’t going to turn back on my decision.”
