Daughter & Boyfriend Stabbed Her Dad To Death Because He Did Not Approve Their Relationship


In Italy, a girl and her boyfriend allegedly stabbed her father to death while he was sleeping because he was against their relationship.

On the night of April 23, the police arrested Elena Gioa, 18, and Giovanni Limata, 23, for the murder of Aldo Gioia, 53, Elena’s Father, in the city of Avellino.

Reports say that the couple was also planning to kill her mother and sister because they also don’t support Elena and Giovanni’s relationship.

Giovanni allegedly stabbed Aldo seven times using a hunting knife while he was sleeping on the sofa in his living room.

Despite horrendous injuries, Aldo was able to warn his wife and his other daughter to save themselves hours before he passed away in the hospital.

The two suspects were arrested by the police officers at Giovanni’s house hours after the horrific crime, and they both confessed their involvement in the murder.

Apart from admitting that they killed Aldo, the couple also claimed that they had planned to kill the teen’s mother and sister before running away.

The police have stated that the couple had created the plan a long time ago and had even strategized to fake a robbery at Elena’s home to mislead the investigators.

The police officers have concluded that the daughter left the door open and pretended to take the trash out so that her boyfriend could sneak in and kill her sleeping dad.

According to L’Occhio de Avellino, police are certain that the motive of the crime was Elena’s family disapproval of her relationship with her boyfriend, who had been a reason for many arguments to them.

At the time of their arrest, Giovanni was unemployed and was involved in a lot of crimes for drugs and different assaults.

Both suspects remain in detention as the investigation into the murder continues.
