Another person added, someone clearly watched The Social Dilemma recently.

Twitter users shared screenshots from the documentary when Edward Tufte is talking about social media dangers. His and Meghan’s words are almost exactly the same.

Edward Tufte’s quote reads: ‘There are only two industries that call their customers “users” illegal drugs and software.’

During her chat with Fortune associate editor Emma Hinchliffe, Meghan mentioned something particularly close. She said there are very few things in the world where you call a person “user.” She continued, people who are addicted to drugs, and people who are on social media, both called users. She added, there is something algorithmically that is in there that is creating this obsession that she thinks is very unhealthy for a lot of people.

Before meeting Prince Harry, Meghan also had her own social media accounts, where she spent years managing them. She frequently used to advertise her work as an actress and also her lifestyle blog ‘The Tig.’

She shared many personal things about her life, containing food, vacation photos. Even in the earlier days of her relationship with Prince Harry, she shared a photo after they met for the first time.

Following her engagement with Prince Harry, she deactivated her social media accounts – including Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook page – in 2018. Due to this, Meghan and Harry started their official Instagram account ‘Sussex Royal’, where they post almost every day.
