35-Year-Old Egyptian Man Dating 80-Year-Old Woman Defends His Relationship After Criticism and Backlash


Egyptian man states, “I am a man, not a game”, responding to criticism that he is a ‘boy toy’ for dating someone 45 years older than him.

Mohamed Ahmed Ibriham, 35, met Iris Jones, an 80-year-old British gran, from Somerset, on Facebook last year. 

According to his report, their connection very quickly. Jones flew to Egypt to be with him, but the couple have not tied the knot just yet.

Ibriham and Jones appeared on a morning show to defend their relationship. Hosts Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield were left flustered when the couple told them explicit details for their first night together.

According to their narration, the night included “an entire time of KY jelly that left Iris saddle sore.”

Appearing once again on the show from Cairo, Mohamed grew enraged while defending their relationship, going as far as to say those who cast doubt on his love for Iris can, ‘go to hell’.

In the interview, he did not address questions about getting married to Jones. Instead, he talked about himself and his love for her.

He said, “Hello everyone in the studio, my name is Mohamed. I am an Egyptian man, I have an engineering [degree]. I met Iris online. We chatted, we chatted, and she want[ed] to come to Egypt to see the pyramids. I met her. [She] understood me and comforted me.”

Still enraged by the criticism, Mohamed ranted about how love does not differentiate between age or countries.

“This is our life, Iris chose me and I chose Iris. For all the people who attack our love, it’s none of your business, focus on your lives, go to hell.”

His frustration specifically targeted those calling him a ‘boy toy’. He asked people to stop calling him that as, “I am a man, okay? I am a man, not a boy toy.” At this point in the interview, Jones supported him.

She said, “Normally Mohamed is very shy when he’s speaking, he’s not shy in bed.”

Both hosts were confused about her frankness in discussing their private life. However, Jones defended this:  “I speak the truth.”
