A 75-year-old Asian citizen died after sustaining traumatic injuries to his brain after a convicted felon robbed and shoved him down.
26-year-old Teaunte Bailey was slapped with murder charges in Alameda County on Thursday, as a result of the findings. Moreover, local news outlets confirmed how he reportedly shoved and then robbed 75-year-old Pak Ho. The tragic incident took place on the streets of Oakland, last Tuesday.
The incident left Mr. Pak Ho with the most horrifying brain injury, that occurred as his head slammed the pavement. Reports also spoke about how Teaunte was already a convicted felon who had an appalling history of attacking members of the elderly community.
Police confirmed how Ho was a resident from Oakland of Asian descent. He was innocently walking across the street, right before 7 am in the morning. But little did he know about the intentions of the evil convict who struck him for personal gains.
Baily’s record sheets showed how in 2012, he received charges for robbery and mega assault. And that was in connection with another similar incident that took place last month.
On February 19th, prosecutors mentioned how Bailey broke inside one apartment which belonged to a senior living facility. And that was also where he shoved as well as robbed the 72-year-old Asian man. He ran away with his cellphone and some other items, leaving him to die helplessly.
The fresh attack comes at a time when law enforcement authorities, as well as cities around the country, experience a mega surge in the violence against members of the Asian community.
Officers booked Bailey into Alameda’s County jail on Wednesday, right after he fled from police officers, after his attack.
Now, Bailey has been scheduled to appear for an arrangement, which will take place on Friday, as reported by the San Francisco Chronicle. Moreover, officers in the area condemned the attack on the senior member of society with the police chief paying respects to the victim’s family during this difficult time.
