Emirates To Resume Passenger Flights To 9 Main Destinations


Emirates has announced that it will start flights to nine destinations across the world including Toronto, Frankfurt, Sydney, Paris, Milan, Madrid, Chicago, Melbourne, and London from 21st May, Thursday.

Meanwhile, with the continuation of these flights they have also announced the “specific criteria” for passengers to ensure their safety as well as of crew. Only those passengers will be accepted who will be obliged with the set rules of their countries and destinations.

Boarding agents and other staff members who have direct contact with the passengers will be given proper protective equipment and disposable gowns to maintain the health environment. Also, it will be requested to travelers to keep their masks and gloves on from the beginning until their destinations.

Not only that, for preparing a safe flight system due to the situation of the pandemic, they also installed numerous preventive measurements for these passenger flights. For instance, passengers and staff will be checked by Thermal Scanner at Dubai International Airport for safety measures, to check whether the person has been infected by the deadly virus or not.

At the check-in counters, protective shields have been used to maintain the safe social distance among customers. Magazines and print media will not be available and customers can only take essential things like phones, laptops, valets, bags, items for infants.

To maintain the social distancing, Code Physical Indicators are being operated on grounds at the lobby and waiting areas to ensure the safe distancing mode.

During the flight, the flight-in operations will be classified as to maintain the focus on reducing contact and risk. The built-in advanced HEPA air splashes are initiated to make the air virus and germs free.

The chief operating officer named Adel Al Redha claimed that “we are joyful on the continuation of passenger flight to these destinations, we will provide more ways for them to travel to UAE and also from Australia and UK.point 190 | point 197 | 1

Further, he states that “We have put some more precautionary measures with the coordination of the relevant departments. And our top priority will remain the health and safety of the crew, staff , customers, and communities.”

The homepage of Ryanair tells passengers to online check-in, download boarding passes in their phones so that they can lessen the social contact. They also advise wearing masks and gloves throughout their flights.

Moreover, the passengers will be asked to check their temperature before flights to ensure the safety of the rest of the people. If a person does not abide by these safety measures, he/she will have to go back to his home as flight attendants have the right to not allow them to continue their journey.
