Activist Behind Fake BLM Charity Page Arrested For Misusing $200,000 To Buy A Home, Guns And Tailored Suits


An Activist from Atlanta got caught and has been arrested for spending more than $200,000 in donations deliberate for the Black Lives Matter movement to buy for himself a house, tailored suits, and firearms.

The 32 years old man, Sir Maejor Page, or known as Tyree Conyers-Page got caught and was arrested Friday in Toledo, Ohio. He is charged with wire fraud and two counts of money laundering. The investigation is still in progress.

According to FBI news, Tyree Conyers-Page made a social media account and a GoFundMe page under the name of Black Lives Matter of Greater Atlanta (BLMGA), declaring it was non-profit.

His profile and the page were never acknowledged, accepted, or associated with the official Atlanta Black Lives Matter organization. 

The bank account was created for BLMGA in 2018 with Sir Maejor Page as the only signatory.

The account never transcended $5,000 from April 2018 and May 2020, till June 2020 with the spread Black Lives Matter movement when a police officer killed George Floyd in May while he was protesting.

His ‘organization’ itself has lost its tax-exempt status in 2019, as per 13WMAZ, despite the fact that his BLMGA Facebook page was registered as non-profit.

In June the BLMGA page received $36,493.80 in donations. In July it got $370,933.69, furthermore, in August it collected $59,914.69.

During the time of accepting charities, Tyree Conyers-Page responded that the donations will be used to fight for Floyd, and it will not be used for personal items.

However, throughout June, July, and August, Page purchased clothing, tailored suits, furniture, a home security system, and a house in Toledo. In September he bought a pistol and two other guns.

Page posted many videos and live streams on his personal social media account showing his new suits, hotel rooms, office space in Atlanta.

Officials reported that he used more than $200,000 in donations for personal items.

The investigation began after authorities received a complaint that Page was unethically using the account to collect money for himself.

Afterward, GoFundMe banned Tyree Conyers-Page from the platform and said all Black Lives Matter of Greater Atlanta associated pages were removed.

The page already has a criminal record, court and arrest records from 2014 and 2015.
