3 Women Arrested For Brutally Attacking Spirit Airlines’ Staff After Flight Delay At The Airport


Police have arrested three Philadelphia women after hysterically attacking Spirit Airlines Staff at a Florida airport.

According to reports, camera footage showed the women hurling phones, water bottles, shoes, and even fast food towards the airline staff.  The incident occurred after their flight was delayed.

The footage was captured using a mobile phone which depicted the violent behavior at Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport, on Tuesday. Similarly, the accused face battery charges for their brutal crime.

The clip showcases three women: Danaysha Akia Cuthbert Dixon, 22, Tymaya Monique Wright, 20, and Kaira Candida Ferguson, 21, engaging in the hysterical attack.

Furthermore, the footage revealed how the women standing inside the terminal began hurling objects like shoes, cellphones, metal boarding signs, heavy bottles, and even fast food towards the employees.

The report released claims:

The victims were also punched and kicked in different sections of their bodies numerous times.’

However, it is still unclear as to what exactly led to the moments before the footage recording began. With that being said, the suspects were shown arguing with one woman, followed by other staff members who hovered around her for protection. And that’s when the passengers began delivering blows.

Likewise, other airline employees and nearby passengers began rushing over to save the victims.

The airline has released a statement claiming that the incident was a one-sided attack and not a brawl between two sides.

The Spirit Airlines statement claimed the following:

We thank our team members for their professionalism and quick actions, and we also thank the Broward Sheriff’s Office for their assistance at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport yesterday.’

‘Three guests became combative following a delayed flight, and they were arrested for physically assaulting our team members. Three of our Team Members sustained minor injuries.’

Meanwhile, the Airline condemned the incident, claiming it to be ‘completely unacceptable,’ with zero tolerance for the activities held anywhere.

The accused were escorted by police officials to Broward County Jail and were charged on account of strike battery and Wright.

Most importantly, this isn’t the first time that the low budget airline has faced physical altercation. Numerous similar incidents were recorded in the past, about flight delays.
