Southwest Florida Airport Caught A Massive Fire That Damaged 3,500 Rental Vehicles


A massive inferno swept through the Florida airport on Friday night and put a large number of vehicles to fire.

If we are to believe the reports, more than 3 thousand hire cars have been blown to bits.

Florida airport lot, at the moment, has to go through colossal havoc. Such a huge number of vehicles has been demolished and the higher authorities are trying to figure out the cause behind this. At the moment, everyone is just awe-struck hearing of the magnificent fire that wrecked a disaster unto the lot.

The witnesses have come forward to have their say on the incident they caught a sight of. They said they saw sky-towering flames leaping high into the air and heard ear-deafening explosions. It was a dreadful scene to watch right before you, one of them added.

When the firefighters were called, they immediately took control of the situation after taking necessary readings. As it was an unbelievably gigantic fire, It took 80 drops of water to calm it down, so to say.

Not to undermine the fact that it was an incredibly huge fire, and for this reason, the firemen couldn’t get the job done standing at the ground. The firefighters had to bring helicopters to get control over this wildfire.

Plenty of fire tanks and two helicopters were brought into use to extinguish the mammoth fire. It is hard to say that the vast damage done by the fire could be retrieved.

Vicki Moreland, the spokesperson of the airport authorities, gave out all the details of the incident that happened on Friday night. He further disclosed that there’s about 3,850 rental vehicles at the lot that remained out of harm’s way.

Good thing, no lives were threatened by this horrific incident. Later on, the airport authorities showed gratitude towards all the agencies on ground who saved the situation from getting even worse.
