But this time, it’s not due to her poor decision-making. According to media reports, GoFundMe is currently investigating the fundraiser that lies in her name. Local news outlets confirmed how Tessica Brown’s account is frozen which means she cannot withdraw funds.

After undergoing an expensive adhesive removal procedure for free, Tessica announced how she intended to donate whatever money she received to charity. But now, reports mentioned how authorities were going to be looking after her account after her case hit the spotlight like no other.

Tessica who is a Louisianna native made the news due to her very sticky situation. Now, she’s rocking a brand new and fresh hairdo, thanks to some professional medical help.

Dubbed as the ‘Gorilla Glue Girl,’ Tessica created her own GoFundMe account early on when the adhesive was still stuck to her hair. This was in a plight to help her with medical bills, alongside funds that would assist her in purchasing wigs as she feared for the worst.

But after her procedure running smoothly and everything working out in her favor, Tessica announced how she would donate all the money she received to charity. However, the company simply won’t let her do so as they’re investigating the matter.

“They refuse to release it to me because they feel that so many individuals have called in, informing them how my account was fraudulent,” she exclaimed while appearing live during an interview on Zoom.

When she first set up her GoFundMe account, she simply wasn’t aware of how much publicity and fame it would receive. Moreover, she initially only requested $1500. But little did she know that so many people would feel sorry for her and extend a helping hand by generous donations.

Her account received a staggering amount of money, around $23,000 in total. With her viral fame and a celeb management team too, not to mention her merchandise line, she just wants to give back to society. But with investigations on their way, that doesn’t seem to be happening, anytime soon.
