Prince Harry is going viral after he and Meghan Markle revealed it all in an interview with Oprah recently.
The Duke of Sussex described himself, Prince William, and Prince Charles as three men trapped in a system. However, he also boldly mentioned how he thanks the lucky stars that he managed to escape. In the same way, he talked about how sorry he felt for both William and Charles as they can now never escape the brutal system of Monarchy.
The bombshell interview was aired through CBS with the royal couple revealing it all with Oprah Winfrey.
Harry explained how his family cut him off, both literally and financially. Moreover, he spoke about how he was only able to break away from the royal life, all thanks to the great inheritance from his late mum, Princess Diana.
“Before meeting Meghan, I was literally trapped. My father Charles stopped attending my phonecalls,” Harry exclaimed. He believes his decision of never returning to the family was too big of a decision for many to accept.
“I just couldn’t see a way out, I was trapped,” he exclaimed to Oprah in the candid interview. “You know I was trapped, but I didn’t know I was trapped.”
Harry also shed light upon how hurt and left out he left when the queen all of his royal patronages as well as his honorary titles. However, he did state that he ‘respects her decision’ of doing so.
The much-anticipated interview took place before the Royal Palace announced how Harry and Meghan would lose all of their remaining titles.
Speaking about his fractured relationship with his father, Prince Charles, Harry also mentioned how he and his dad were currently on zero speaking terms. And that was right after Charles stopped taking Harry’s calls. “I feel very let down and there is a lot of work to do there,” he exclaimed.
