Sources claim that the Sussexes are renting a $10 million mansion near Sir Elton John’s place in Los Angeles.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are living in Los Angeles for the mean time, until they find a home that is free from the prying eyes of paparazzis.
According to a source, the couple “has been hunting for months but have yet to find their dream home. The market is dive-bombing at the moment so a permanent move seems some time away.”
“So they have tried to make life as comfortable as possible in their rented house, and have found a wonderful complex away from prying eyes,” the source added.
The property offers high security and “paparazzi-proof,” with two guarded checkpoints along with a pool, gym, and landscaped gardens.
“If they can’t move for another few months, at least they will be happy and very comfortable here,” said the source.
TMZ claimed that the couple has been looking at homes in the Bel Air suburbs, as Meghan wanted to get close to the “action” in Hollywood.
Prince Harry and Meghan were believed to have been in contact with the famed singer and his husband via video link.
The couple is said to have also sought advice from George and Amal Clooney, with matters of security and schooling.
Sir Elton John is a long-time friend of the couple, and has a close connection to the Royal family, having performed at the couple’s wedding back in May 2018 and went on vacation with the couple in his $18 million mansion in Nice, France.
The report comes after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were seen in Los Angeles for the first time.
There were spotted on surveillance cameras delivering food packages at the Sierra Bonita Community Apartments in West Hollywood on behalf of Project Angel Food – a nonprofit based in Los Angeles.
