The star actress was a familiar face on the hit series ‘Peaky Blinders’ as well as a known star for Harry Potter too. According to local media reports, the star put up a brave face and secretly battled her way through cancer that not too many people knew about.
Helen was married to Damian Lewis, who is another familiar name in the world of acting. He confirmed the news just moments ago, leaving fans and loved ones shocked beyond belief. Damian confirmed how Helen passed away at her home peacefully, surrounded by her closest family members.
In addition, her husband explained how she fought through most of her health challenges on her own. “It was as if she died as she lived,” he confirmed. Damian also reflected on how lucky he and the rest of the world was to have her in their lives.
Currently, McCrory’s family is devastated. They chose to remain silent on her secret battle with cancer, calling it heroic.
