Breaking: A 95-Year-Old Italian Grandmother Becomes The Oldest Woman To Recover From Coronavirus

A 95-year-old grandmother in Italy was diagnosed with coronavirus last month. Seeing the devastating situation in Italy where more than 5000 people have lost their lives due to the pandemic disease, the grandma never lost hope and had a firm belief in herself.

And just a few hours ago, the news took the internet by storm that the grandma has recovered from the illness making her the oldest woman to recover.

Alma Clara Corsini, from Fanano in Modena, was taken to a hospital in Pavullo on March 5. After initial treatment, she started to feel better and finally in less than a month, she became totally healthy without even ‘antiviral therapy’.

While talking to the media, Alma said, “Yes, yes, I’m fine. They were good people who looked after me well, and now they’ll send me home in a little while.”

Alma has finally returned to her home and her recovery has been seen as a ‘pride of the staff’.

Italy saw its first coronavirus death in February and within less than a month, it has surpassed China having more than 5,476, as well as having 59,138 infections. On Sunday, Italy also banned inter-city movement and has halted all the local and international flights.

This news just came in after the doctors announced that a 79-year-old Italian man, from Liguria, had recovered last week.
