Red Hot Chilli Peppers’ Lead Guitarist Jack Sherman Passes Away At 64


The lead guitarist for the famous band, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Jack Sherman, passes away at 64.

According to reports, he died due to unknown causes, leaving fellow band members, loved ones, and family in tears.

The leading band took to Instagram on late Friday night to announce his death. And within seconds, the news went viral across the globe. Jack was renowned for his unique personality and exceptional talent. At the same time, the guitarist was renowned for playing for the band’s hit debut self-titled album. Likewise, he made wonderful contributions to several other renowned albums like Mother’s Milk, Abbey Road EP, and Freaky Styley.

However, in 1993, Jack replaced another of the band’s guitarist, by the name of Hillel Slovak. This was the exact same time period where the 1993 album was released. The unique musician added versatility to the Red Hot Chilli Peppers songs, giving it a twist of a whole new kind.

The band’s announcement about Jack’s death claimed:

‘We, the Red Hot Chilli Peppers Family would like to wish our buddy Jack Sherman a smooth sailing into the worlds beyond, for he is no longer with us. He has passed. The heartbreaking news was shared on Instagram and it was too much for many fans to bear.

The heartfelt announcement also mentioned how Jack played on the band’s first release album as well as during their first-ever tour of the United States. Moreover, they all referred to him as a unique dude, while offering condolences as well as an appreciation for his massive contribution to their success.

Although his work was a very pivotal aspect of the band’s success, he wasn’t included in the famous Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame for the year 2012. And that was related to the fact that the Hall of Fame only included original members.
