YouTuber Jeffree Star Is Hospitalised After His Pink Rolls Royce Hits Black Ice In ‘Severe Car Accident’


Jeffrey Lynn Steininger Jr or popularly known as Jeffree Star was rushed to the hospital after his brand new Rolls Royce hit a block of black ice on the road, causing it to flip multiple times in Wyoming.

Star, 35, was traveling with his best friend Daniel Lucas in Natrona County, Wyoming when the ‘severe’ car accident happened.

Several hours after the crash, the YouTube sensation updates his fans on Instagram, saying that he is in ‘excruciating pain’ and that his friend Lucas suffered ‘internal injuries’.

“This morning was one of the scariest moments of our entire lives,” Star said in the post. “I’m so grateful to be here still. I’m in excruciating pain because part of my back is broken and I have vertebrae fractures on my spine.”

Star added that his doctor said it will take a few months before he can fully recover.

On the other hand, Daniel Lucas —who was ‘in the passenger’s seat’ at the time of the accident— suffered ‘internal injuries, and because he’s a colon cancer survivor, Lucas is having complications with his organs.

“Thank you to every single person checking in on us,” Star concluded.

 Before the Instagram update, a spokesperson for the 35-year-old used his Instagram to confirm the ‘severe’ car crash.

“A few hours ago Jeffree and Daniel were in a severe car accident and the car flipped 3 times after hitting black,” it said in the post. “We will update you all when the doctor gives us more info. So thankful they are both alive.”

K2 Radio reported that Star’s car was heading northbound on Hat Six Road in Natrona County when it hit black ice.

Star and Lucas are currently hospitalized at Wyoming Medical Center.

According to TMZ, drugs and alcohol are not involved in the car crash, but investigators said that overspeeding can be a factor.
