First Lady Jill Biden received plenty of comments on her recent airport look.
Mrs Biden certainly made the world stop and stare as she boarded a flight that was scheduled to take her back to the White House in DC. As you can probably expect, all eyes were on the first lady and her fashion choices. But her recent episode comprising of black-toned booties and sexy fishnet stockings had the internet divided.
The fashion police and trolls were quick to call her out, dubbing the look like a trashy Halloween costume. Moreover, the incident sparked a major debate with people voicing their mixed reactions to the fashion incident.
Some went as far as comparing Jill to others while others questioned whether or not the look was even appropriate in the first place as the garment didn’t appear to be too first lady-friendly.
Mrs Biden disembarked the plane from California on Thursday evening, where cameras caught a glimpse of her daring look at Andrews Air Force base in the state of Maryland. The look comprised of tight fishnet stockings, booties with heels, and a leather skirt too. Did we mention a fitted blazer?
While many opposed the attire, referring to Jill as a wannabe of Madonna, others requested that they respect the fashion choices she makes as she is the first lady and can wear whatever she feels like.
“They might be expensive but she looks so trashy as heck dressed like that,” mentioned another. Another pinpointed her outfit and called Jill an embarrassment to the nation and an embarrassment to the title of the first lady too.
Another group of internet warriors carried out a poll to see how many viewers supported the first lady’s fishnet tights too.
