Actress Rooney Mara is expecting her first child with fiancé Joaquin Phoenix.
When working on Spike Jonze ‘s 2013 movie Her, the extremely reserved couple first met, but did not begin dating until they worked on Mary Magdalene ‘s set in 2016.
According to Page Six, that the 35-year-old “may be as far as six months along” days after she was recently pictured in sporting baggy clothing.
However, said both of their reps refused to answer requests for comment. The pair also kept a low profile in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic and they have been self-isolating at their home in Los Angeles.
It was reported that, last July after three years of dating Joaquin, 45, and the Lion actress had engaged.
In June 2019, the Carol star set tongues wagging when she was discovered wearing a huge rock on her ring finger during a Phoenix animal rights march. They just don’t like going out as they said that, “We want to be with each other.” and they are in a bubble of their own.
Back in 2017 at the Cannes Film Festival the Joker star Joaquin made his first red carpet appearance with Mara and later revealed that the couple is living together in the Hollywood Hills.
During an interview with Vanity Fair in 2019 the acclaimed actor admitted that he was initially sure that Mara “despised” him but in reality she was too shy to share her feelings.
He admitted: “She’s the only person I’ve ever looked up on the internet. We’ve been mates, email friends.
“I should never have done that. I never looked up a girl online.”
Previously, the Walk The Line star had relationships with other Hollywood A-listers, including Anna Paquin in 2001 and Liv Tyler from 1995 through 1998. It is believed he had short encounters with Lindsay Lohan and Anna Friel, too.
