WWE World Champ John Cena Just Donated $1M to Black Lives Matter Movement


A proud moment for both John Cena’s fans and the Black community as he matches with #MatchAMillion by donating $1m to the #BlackLivesMatter movement.

The actor is known as one of the most charity giving celebrities in Hollywood donating his time and money for noble causes.

Recently, the septet BTS had donated $1m to #BlackLivesMatter and shared their emotions with the world through Twitter. The band wrote that they are against violence and everyone should have the right to be treated respectfully.

The BTS fans, known as ARMY, were moved by the virtuous gesture of their favorite celebrities and started a campaign called #MatchAMilion on June 7 and encouraged everyone to match with the donation. The fan collective called One in an ARMY is famous for running charity projects for the fandom.

John Cena took it to twitter to share this news with his fans and inspire others to do so saying change is always difficult and uncomfortable in the beginning and we may get disappointed with our ways to bring a change at times.point 308 |

Cena also tweeted to appreciate BTS’s noble deed of donating $1m to #BlackLivesMatter movement saying this is one of the reasons he respects the band. He also said he is very happy to donate his money to the movement.

Fans are going gaga over this philanthropic action of the actor/wrestler and calling it a proud moment. The actor is widely known as an emphatic human being as he regularly gives charity for Make-A-Wish Foundation. A fan on Twitter said John Cena is what Hulk Hogan pretended to be in his whole career.

After this generous and prolific donation, the#BlackLivesMatter and #MatchAMillion movements are hopeful it will inspire more celebrities and individuals to come out and support the cause.
