And now his attorney claims that protestors were ‘relentlessly hunting for him as prey.’ Hence, for this reason, the teen had no other choice but to act in ‘self-defense.’
That’s the justification for firing his gun towards protestors, killing two victims while injuring another.
Kyle Rittenhouse faces charges as an adult. These include two counts for first-degree homicide, followed by another for attempted homicide. All of these come in light of the recent event of protests, related to Kenosha, Wisconsin. Moreover, the entire outrage sparked when cops shot Jacob Blake in the back, 7 times.
This left the 29-year-old Black man paralyzed, below his waist. Although he can’t move, doctors explained how he’s currently out of danger. But today, his family and supporters seek justice.
On the other hand, Rittenhouse killed Joesph Rosenbaum as well as Anthony Huber.Similarly, he injured Gaige Grosskreutz too by shooting his arm.
All of these events took place via a long series of violent encounters. They were all captured via cellphone videos. And that’s how details related to the gruesome killings emerged.
John Pierce, who represents as Rittenhouse’s lawyer, explained how the teenager did his level best to escape from the madness in front of him. Moreover, he praised the 17-year-old gunmen for his bravery and his actions. Likewise, he argued that the teen was doing his level best to defend himself.
He described the group of protestors as a mob who did their best to try and disarm him while inflicting harm. According to reports, Pierce explained to Fox News how this was ‘100% self-defense.’
At the same time, he went on to claim how the teen exclusively shot those victims who attacked him. And that’s because they attempted to put him at major risk. ‘He’s a 17-year-old kid and what he did was simply amazing,’ he said.
