The tweet references to President Donald Trump’s response to a question asking him if he was willing “to condemn White supremacists and militia groups, and to say that they need to stand down and not add to the violence in a number of these cities.”

Fox News host Chris Wallace asked the question during Tuesday night’s debate which he moderated, and continued that the nation has seen violence in cities, such as Kenosha, Wisconsin, and Portland, Oregon.

The clip included an image of Rittenhouse who has been charged with using a Smith & Wesson AR-15-style .223 rifle to kill two men and injure a third, during the Kenosha protests where he claims to be protecting businesses from arson and looting.

Rittenhouse’s lawyers continued to argue that the teen was acting on self-defense.

Wood also demanded for Biden to retract his accusations, saying, “He falsely accused a 17-year old boy & prejudiced Kyle’s legal rights.”

The Anti-Defamation League, which tracks extremist activity, said previously that while there were militia members at the Kenosha protest, they did not find any indication that Rittenhouse is connected to any extremist movements.

Instead, the group said that the teenager is extremely pro-police and appears to have been a former police explorer, a career-oriented program for youth considering a career in law enforcement.
