However, Kenosha’s Circuit Court Commissioner, Loren Keating, failed to agree with the lawyer. At the same time, he mentioned how there was plenty of evidence to allow the high profile case to proceed further. And that meant entering into a trial.

The 17-year-old Kenosha gunman from Illinois was charged for homicide as well as attempts at homicide on August 25th. And that’s when he carried out the fatal shootings against Joseph Rosenbaum as well as Anthony Huber. Meanwhile, his bullets also left Gaige Grosskreutz severely wounded.

The series of incidents took place in Kenosha on a night where civil unrest broke loose. And this was all sparked by the shooting of a black man, Jacob Blake, by the police.

After entering into police custody, Rittenhouse tried to prove his innocence by claiming that he only acted in ‘self-defense.’ Moreover, he expressed how he was actually attacked while in the process of guarding another person’s business. Hence, that’s why he opted to fire as an act of self-defense only.

Most of the funding came via a legal defense setup, started by conservatives who always viewed him as a patriot. Moreover, they felt that the teen was a hero for protecting other’s property.

Rittenhouse’s attorney failed to convince the court with substantial evidence. These came in the form of several screenshots of the incident. Here, the attorney tried to show the gunman’s attempts for self-defense.
