In a shocking turn of events, the Louisville Police Department has gone on to admit how none of their officers should have fired bullets at Breona Taylor during the ‘no-knock raid’ that took place at her apartment.
The 26-year-old technician who served duties at an emergency room was brutally shot dead by cops when the raid of a suspected drug was carried out at her apartment on March 13th, 2020. It was reported how cops failed to find anything from the raid, yet they shot down the 26-year-old.

After the cops burst into her home, where she was currently living alongside her boyfriend Kenneth Walker, the latter shot down one of the police sergeants. Walker admitted in his defense how he did not know that they were cops that had barged into their residence and hence he shot the weapon for his and Taylor’s defense.
Meanwhile, a new report revealed recently explained how the Louisville Police Department admitted how the actions should never be done in the first place, which tragically resulted in Breonna’s death.

In the same way, he added how it was Walker that actually possessed a weapon and therefore a threat, and hence the use of weapons against him was more justified. “Not a single cop should have ever shot weapons at Taylor.”
Sgt Jonathan Mattingly was the officer who received a bullet to his leg after Walker opened fire. He did not face any disciplinary action, confirmed reports. However, both former detectives of the case, Brett Hankison and Myles Cosgrove were dismissed from their duties, right after their involvement in the tragic killing.
