The prime suspect for the high profile Madeleine McCann’s case is reportedly linked to a German sex attack.
According to reports, Christian Brueckner attacked a 10-year-old girl, while on a beach in Portugal. Meanwhile, the shocking claims come just one month before Madeleine vanished.
The 23-year-old German woman says she recognized the suspect through television. She recalled the horrifying claims of how he grabbed her over Salema Beach in the year 2007.
According to reports, the suspect masturbated right in front of her eyes. And that’s when her brother as well as father chased him away. Unfortunately, they weren’t able to get him. The German woman revealed how she was on a holiday with her family in Portugal, just six miles away from where Madeleine McCann also vanished.
The horrifying sex attack took place just a few weeks before the toddler disappeared, on May 3rd. And that’s why prosecutors who were previously examining the toddler’s case, have now reopened it. Today, they are hopeful towards finding a new solution between both the cases.
Lead prosecutor, Hans Christian Wolters, released a statement claiming how Madeleine’s abduction suspect is the same man who took part in a German sex attack.
Currently, the suspected pedophile is spending time in a German prison. Here, he’s serving charges relating to a drug conviction. But that’s not all. The 43-year-old criminal is also guilty of plenty of other charges, including sexual assault. Moreover, in 2005, he was guilty of raping a 72-year-old woman.
German police arrested the prime suspect in the Madeleine case, explaining how they had concrete evidence about his involvement. Also, they confirmed how they feared for the toddler’s death.
On the other hand, the suspect’s lawyer claims that his client is not guilty of anything. Moreover, he explained how he’s got nothing to hide.
