Malala Yousufzai, a young Pakistani activist who advocated for the education of girls in Pakistan, has recently graduated from Oxford University.
In her recent tweet, Malala expressed her gratitude towards the completion of her undergraduate studies. She pursued her degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics.
Yousufzai gained massive social attention as she survived the Taliban attack i.e. Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan, at the age of 15 while returning home from school. This attack was a result of bottled-up frustration from conservative men who were severely against the idea of educating girls in Pakistan.
She proved to be a powerful voice against these misogynistic groups who ganged up against her. Malala did not only vocalize her enragement towards the unequal treatment of girls in her area but also worked endlessly in the developmental sector for this cause.
She is a progenitor of the Malala Fund, a non-profit organization that serves for educating girls’ in marginalized areas of Pakistan.
Malala, along with her family relocated to Birmingham after her miraculous survival against the fatal injury.
Malala holds a resilient personality as she marks her name amongst the worlds’ most prominent leaders including Benazir Bhutto, Imran Khan, and David Cameron.
In her recent tweets, Malala posted two pictures, which were a clear reflection of her happiness and contentment. In the first picture, she is seen to be covered in confetti. While in the other picture the whole family has amassed around for a mini celebration.
The youngest Nobel Prize holder has promised herself some quality time after this strenuous academic expedition. “It’s time for Netflix, sleep and reading”, she says.

Hard to express my joy and gratitude right now as I completed my Philosophy, Politics and Economics degree at Oxford. I don’t know what’s ahead. For now, it will be Netflix, reading and sleep. ? pic.twitter.com/AUxN55cUAf
