Harrowing video footage went viral recently, showing a brutal ‘bike gang’ attacking a New York City cab.
The terrifying video captures a birds-eye view of the center of Manhattan’s Fifth Avenue. Here, viewers can clearly distinguish a brutal assault on a yellow cab. Moreover, experts claim that the attack’s nature was even more severe than that performed upon a BMW, just a few blocks away.
Here, pedal pushing punks, arriving in dozens, beset all the vehicles by 4 pm. Sources claim that the riders appeared to be in their teens, making their way towards an evil adventure. They begin their horrifying mission of destruction with a yellow New York City cab, situated between 29th street and Fifth Avenue.
The video went viral on social media after Attorney Teny Geragos shared it with viewers via his Twitter account.
He captioned the brutal attack with, “This horrifying scene took place on the 29th street and the 5th Avenue yesterday. It is clearly an arbitrary as well as an unprovoked attack upon this taxi driver,” he claimed.
In the 49-second video clip, the recording begins when the cab driver gets out of his vehicle to inspect the damage performed on his car. However, it was just in time for him to capture one of the miscreants, trying to swing his bike into the hack’s back.

Meanwhile, the driver returned back to his seat, after which the cyclists continued to circle his vehicle. Soon, the video shows him reaching for a black colored object, but by that time, most of the assailants fled towards the south.
The incident comes to light when another harrowing attack took place in New York City recently. Here, a group of cyclists surrounded a 36-year-old driver’s BMW SUV. They went on pounding the luxe vehicle, ripping off its side mirrors while forcing the driver out with yells of, “Get out, get out!”
Police are still investigating the matter, with reports suggesting their arrival at the crime scene immediately. They did their level best to help the cab driver and find the bicyclists, claim media reports.
