The Duchess also paired the look with various gold jewelry, including Princess Diana‘s £17,800 ($25,000) Cartier watch, a £5,000 ($7,000) Cartier bracelet, another £2,361 ($3,300) bracelet, and a £102 ($143) necklace featuring a ‘woman’s power’ charm.

Meghan is a fan of wearing several pieces of jewelry at once, contradicting the royal trend for keeping accessories to a minimum.

She wore Princess Diana’s gold Cartier Tank watch, which is believed to be a present from Prince Harry. It was worth $23,000 (£17,800) at the time but is now expected to worth a lot more given its history.

The watch was worn by Diana on a number of occasions, including a 1997 visit to London’s Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Hindu Temple and an engagement at the British Lung Foundation that same year.

“It’s a feeling of joy we share with millions of other families around the world,” she said. “When we think of her, we think of all the young women and girls around the globe who must be given the ability and support to lead us forward.”
