A model is going viral after boldly posing topless in the Dubai desert.
The shocking news comes from a country like the United Arab Emirates that poses strict restrictions on such behavior that goes against the nation’s cultural principles. On that note, the model was slammed for her actions.
After posing in the daring attire, she even shared her clicks online for her social media followers. Now, she insists that she did nothing wrong as both of her hands were covering her breasts.
Unfortunately, her defense statement in such a serious matter holds little to no regard.
Luana Sandien put up a trio of pictures, around 6 days ago. And after the images went viral, people started calling the model out for her inappropriate behavior, accusing her of breaking the country’s law. In addition, some added how she had little to no regard for the nation’s strict laws over the country’s dress code. But what exactly did she wear?
Well, the 27-year-old Brazilian beauty donned loosely fitting, split-legged pants. This was paired alongside a black and white toned headscarf and a pair of sunglasses, leaving little to many people’s imagination.
Now, Luana explains how she never meant to intentionally embarrass or hurt anyone’s feelings. However, people didn’t spare the model one bit, shaming her and accusing her of insulting the country’s sovereignty.
The model did claim that her clicks were some of the best that were ever taken, but she never meant to embarrass anyone.
“I made sure to cover up my breasts using my hands, knowing that I’m in a nation where it’s forbidden to be naked,” she ranted. In addition, she talked about the threats and hatred spread by her critics and haters too.
After posting the picture to her Instagram handle, comprising of 14,000 followers, she also added a Portuguese caption by its side. It translated to, “The beauty of the desert is that it disguises a water well anywhere….”
On that note, one user commented, ‘how come they didn’t arrest your a**?’ Therefore, the model replied boldly how the authorities let her do whatever she wanted. And just like that, the hateful comments began flooding her image with people calling her out for disrespecting the country’s culture.
According to a statement by the foreign office, women must abide by the country’s rules and regulations, which state that females’ bare skin and undergarments shouldn’t be visible. This includes swimming attire that must be worn only at beaches or swimming pools.
