Mom Shared Reality Behind Her CNN Interview And Explains Why She Didn’t ‘Change Into Pants’


In 2020 many day care facilities, schools are being closed or limited, many kids are studying from home, virtually, and millions of parents are working from home due to the pandemic.

The balance that most working moms are trying to accomplish is becoming, even more, harder. Though there are more careerist women than before in history, nevertheless women still take the larger part of taking care of the household and the responsibility of childcare duties. Moms also tend to take mental responsibility to keep track of every little detail to keep the household run smoothly, keeping in mind when to take their child to the doctor, dentist appointments, noticing when the kids are outgrowing their clothes, and organizing after school activities.

It’s a lot to take at a time. And it’s even a lot more because we are also dealing with this global pandemic, social anxiety, political confusion, and rising numbers of frightening natural disasters.

Therefore scientist, Gretchen Goldman’s impressively honest photo shows where and how she managed an interview on CNN.

Gretchen Goldman, Ph.D. is the research director for the Center for Science and Democracy at the Union of Concerned Scientists, on a CNN segment she reflected and measured the Trump administration’s appointment of a climate change denier to NOAA. In the interview, she was talking from home (as almost everyone these days), but she appeared entirely professional in her yellow shirt.

Many moms who are working from home saw themselves in that picture. This photo shouldn’t be viewed negatively, it just shows how life is when you are trying to do all these things from home.

This photo brought together a lot of work-from-home moms and gave each other some practical advice.

And of course, many working dads are in the same boat. Everyone needs to acknowledge the fact what they are doing is admirable and fascinating.
