Traumatized Mom Kicked Off American Airlines Flight With Her 2-Year-Old Son

The mother, Rachel Starr Davis, explains the horrifying ordeal as she traveled with her 2 year old, Lyon. Moreover, Lyon just felt the need to raise a commotion, at the most inappropriate time. But as a child, terror may strike anywhere and at any point in time.

Meanwhile, the situation unfolded when they were all on the plane. Here, the flight attendant revealed how Lyon had to wear his mask too. Moreover, she threatened his mother, saying they they would be kicked off the flight, in case they didn’t.

The next series of events that took place were nothing less than a nightmarish experience. Rachel described it as, ‘traumatizing.’ The mother took to Instagram to express her sentiments on the rather terrifying situation.

After explaining to followers about what exactly went on, she showed an emotional photo of the mother son duo. Here, she wrote how she was awestruck and lost for terms. She explains how she tried to do everything to make Lyon obey orders.

From begging and bribing to even pleading, nothing seemed to work that day. At the same time, Lyon kept on crying and screaming, creating further chaos, aboard the flight. There was a point where she felt the need to grab him and forcibly put it on.

It was one of those moments where she described how she felt the ‘lowest of lows.’ As a mother, she never did anything like that but today, it was just one of those moments where she had no choice.

Certainly, the mother felt a little uneasy when the flight attendant asked her Lyon’s age, even before she sat down. She explained how this was actually her fourth flight this week. No one ever asked her to put a mask on him. But the aggressive attendant refused to cooperate, despite the mother crying for help.

And that’s when the American Airlines staff claimed that he would need to comply with their policy. In case he fails to do so, they would be left with no option but to leave the aircraft. Soon enough, they made all the passengers deplane the airline.

When it was time to board again, they didn’t allow the mother son duo to do so. Thankfully, they did receive another flight in the night, on the same airline. On that journey, they had no problems. In fact, the pilot sincerely apologized for how bad they were treated.
