A ‘monster’ mom who sexually abused her children is sentenced to 723 years in prison.
A mother from Alabama was sexually abusing two children for years with her husband and was sentenced this week – more than a decade after their perverted actions were reported to authorities.
On Monday, the 41-year-old Lisa Marie Lesher was commanded by a Morgan County judge to serve 723 years in prison, which is the maximum penalty for depraved crimes.
According to the attorneys, Lesher and her husband, Michael Lesher, sexually abused her daughter and stepdaughter for many years in their home in Falkville.
Tuscaloosa News reported that the crimes were first reported in 2017 after someone in school noticed one of the child’s neck an injury.
However, prosecutors did not continue the case until the victims were in their 20s and freely to testify, which was until last year.
Lisa was found guilty by a jury on charges of rape, sodomy, sexual torture, and sexual abuse. Her husband, Michael, is on similar charges and sentenced to 438 years in prison.
