Eve Marie, a playboy model, said flight attendants of Southwest Airlines told her to change the clothes, or they’ll kick her out.
On Thursday, Eve Marie,26, while traveling from Dallas to Tulsa via Southwest Airlines, was told to change her clothes because they violate the airline’s dress code. Eve Marie was wearing a low-cut leopard print top and was traveling with her 7-year-old son.
“The staff told me to change the dress, or they will not allow me to travel on their plane. I felt utterly humiliated and embarrassed by this unprofessional conduct. “, said Eve Marie.
The model also claims to be among the A list members of Southwest Airlines. She said I have a credit card with the airline, and I enjoy the perk of taking anyone with me during traveling for free. The staff didn’t care about my high status and loyal customer relation with their airline. I was devastated by their abhorrent attitude of judging me on the basis of my outfit.
Marie was also offended about the comments on her body figure. She said, this is something I can’t help. Marie boarded an earlier flight without any remarks on her dress. It was the layout flight when an African-American attendant told her to change the clothes. “If my outfit was against their policy, they should’ve informed me earlier when I boarded the first flight,” said Marie.
The playboy model was scared to be left stranded in Dallas. She said she asked the staff to return her to Florida from where she departed if they could not take her to Tulsa, that was her final destination.
“I was not given a clear explanation about how my dress is violating their policy. One of the attendants landed me her sweater, which was part of her uniform. I was forced to cover my chest with that sweater during the flight,” said Marie.
Southwest Airlines later offered Eve Marie $100 as compensation for the inappropriate conduct, but she said this couldn’t take away the humiliation and embarrassment she encountered at that moment.
Marie said she wants a public message of apology from the airline and a concise and fair dress code policy. She also added that the current policy only restricts the passengers from wearing lewd clothes, and her outfit by no means was lewd.
