NBA Veteran Jeremy Lin Called ‘Coronavirus’ On Court


Star NBA veteran Jeremy Lin is speaking out on the most horrifying revelations regarding name-calling recently.

According to media reports, Jeremy spoke about the growing number of attacks against race, with special emphasis upon the Asian-American ethnicity. And that’s when the star player explained the great number of incidents where he experienced racism at its peak.

During his career, the star says that being a 9-year veteran makes no difference to the world. Moreover, he added how it never protected him on the basketball court where some went as far as calling him ‘coronavirus.’

The former New York Knicks player recorded his statements through his Facebook account recently, where he shocked plenty to the core.

Currently, Lin plays for another famous basketball team, the Santa Cruz Warriors. This is a G League affiliate, that arises from the Golden State Warriors. Moreover, the star recently expressed his great dismay and anguish over the incident of racism and how violence continues to target many belonging to the Asian American race.

In the same way, Lin spoke about the numerous ways that many Asian American citizens experience racism, alongside bigotry and prejudice too. Through his sentimental statements, many could feel the star’s emotional side coming into the spotlight.

“Something is truly changing about the current generation of Asian Americans. We don’t like being told how we don’t experience any racism. Also, we are very tired of being told to raise our heads below and avoid making any trouble.”

And just like that, Lin’s emotional confessions continued. “We are simply tired of being invisible, mistaken for other colleagues, or even told about struggles that aren’t even real,” the veteran played added.

In the year 2019, Lin became the first-ever Asian American to grab an NBA title, while he played for the Toronto Raptors. His career started off in 2012, where he emerged as one of the breakout stars for the New York Knicks.
