The interview started out innocently, with the twins sharing that they had been staying with Lil’s daughter so they could quarantine together through the coronavirus pandemic.

However, when asked for their secret for living “so long and so well”, Lil pointed to her sister and said, “Her secret? Plenty of sex,” before bursting into laughter.

Lil was not quite done yet, as she continued her naughty quips and said that a one night with Jason Statham is all she needs to “die happy.”

When asked about their thoughts on a potential romance with Colonel Tom Moore – a centenarian who raised £32.7 million for the NHS – the twins were not as keen.

“I want bloody thrilling, not killing,” Lil quipped, sending the studio in fits of laughter.

Over a year ago, the British’ oldest pair commented that “no sex and plenty of Guinness” helped them thrive well into their 90s.

When asked why they think refraining from sex was the key to a long life, Doris answered with, “Well, I don’t have a husband!”
