The archbishop of San Francisco is calling out major public figures for their supporting stance against abortions.

This includes President Joe Biden and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who the archbishop warned should be denied the act of receiving the holy communion.

Despite the archbishop arising from the same hometown as house speaker Nancy Pelosi herself, it was rather shocking to see the warning being issued against her and president Joe Biden, confirmed reports.

The archbishop opted to declare a not-so-subtle warning towards numerous public figures who chose to stand in favor of advocating abortion, despite being ‘self-identified Catholics.point 277 |

’ In addition, he spoke about how public figures need to zip their mouths and put an end to promoting the practice of abortions or they may risk being excluded from the Holy Communion.point 157 | 1

“If you feel that you are not willing or are not able to put an end to your advocacies towards the subject of abortion, then you shouldn’t come forward to receive the Holy Communion,” he added. This came in the form of a pastoral letter that had been released on Saturday.

While the archbishop didn’t exactly mention Nancy Pelosi, or Biden by their names, the comments were quite evident as to who he was referring to as they come at a time where the process of scrutiny is intensifying around the President’s stance regarding the matter.

As it is, both President Biden and House Speaker Pelosi have continuously been reported as pushing abortion access while they claimed to be full-on devout Catholics. This has been reported to be a major contradiction by both Cordileone’s statement as well as a catechism.
