Singer Pink Declares She And Her Three Year Old Tests Positive For Coronavirus And Donates $1 million


Pink claims she tested positive for coronavirus two weeks ago, and has overcome it since then.

“Two weeks ago, my three-year-old son, Jameson, and I had COVID-19 symptoms. Luckily, our primary care physician had access to tests and I tested positive,” she posted on Instagram Friday, posting a pleasant image of herself and Jameson.

“My family was still isolating at home and we have managed to do so for the past two weeks under our doctor’s advice. We were re-tested only a couple days ago and are already gratefully negative.”

Despite the positive news, Pink has made sure to use her voice to condemn the US government for missing coronavirus monitoring.

She continued, ‘It is an absolute travesty and failure of our government to not make testing more widely accessible’.

‘This illness is true and painful. People need to recognize that the disease impacts young and elderly, good and obese, wealthy and poor, and we need to make safe and broader open research to protect our babies, our relatives, our friends and our societies’.

She promised half a million dollars to help front line healthcare workers, including $500,000 to the Temple University Hospital Emergency Fund in Philadelphia in memory of her mother, Judy Moore, “who has served in the Cardiomyopathy and Heart Transplant Center there for 18 years,” Pink wrote.

About $500,000 will go to the Emergency COVID-19 Contingency Fund for the City of Los Angeles Mayor, she added.

“THANK YOU to all our healthcare workers and to all those in the world who work so tirelessly to secure our loved ones,” she said at the end. “You are our heroes! These two weeks to come are crucial: stay home, please. Stay safe.”

Pink has maintained with her followers on social media, posting quarantine baking sessions, at-home workouts, photos singing church hymns while giving Jameson a bath and music sessions with daughter Willow while she learnt piano, while keeping her diagnosis secret over the last few weeks.

Pink got married to Carey Hart, a 44-year-old motorcycle and off-road truck driver, and together they do have an eight-year-old daughter named Willow.
