Just In: Heartbreaking Police Bodycam Footage Released, Showing Cop Killing Daunte Wright


The bodycam footage of the chilling Minnesota incident was recently released where a cop is seen killing Daunte Wright.

According to media reports, the tragic incident unfolded when a black man was fatally shot at a traffic stop in the state of Minnesota. The cop apparently mistook her gun for a Taser, police confirmed on Monday.

And that’s when they released the heartbreaking footage of the incident, where the cop is clearly outlined as firing bullets while yelling in a loud tone, “Taser! Taser!”

According to Brooklyn’s Center Police Chief, Daunte Wright passed away tragically due to an accidental discharge through the hands of a cop. Moreover, now, reports confirm how that particular office has been put on administrative leave.

The viewer can clearly witness and hear the officer yelling at the top of the lungs, “Taser! Taser!” while other cops struggled with controlling Wright in his vehicle. Moreover, the video showed Wright coming out of his vehicle, and then suddenly going behind the wheel again, right before he drove off.

But that’s exactly when the cop realizes the huge error of ‘shooting the officer’ which they boldly exclaim on the video too. “I just shot him!”

While the police officer that hails from Brooklyn was not immediately recognized or identified by authorities, later they were called out as a very senior member of the police force, whose job is now on the line, right after the tragic and shocking incident.

Meanwhile, Brooklyn Center’s Mayor confirmed how he wished to make matters clear from the start and that’s when he mentioned how officers simply can’t make huge mistakes like this and then expect to getaway.

“So, if you ask me, I fully support releasing the officer from all of her duties,” he confirmed. However, when questioned by local media personnel about whether or not he felt the need for her termination, he safely answered by stating how the video provided enough evidence regarding whether or not she would return.
