A Spirit Airlines flight from Orlando to New York forced all of its passengers to deplane the aircraft recently after a bizarre incident.
According to media reports, one family included a couple, their special needs son, and their 2-year-old toddler daughter. The family happily boarded the plane when suddenly things took a turn for the worst.
Reports mentioned how their young toddler had removed her mask to eat a box of yogurt. And that’s where the problem started.
Despite the parents insisted with crew members how they were traveling with a special needs son and the mum being pregnant, the airlines failed to care. Instead, the air hostess boldly mentioned, “I am sorry but they want you all off.”
The couple Ari and Avital Eisenberg from New Jersey were appalled at the behavior. They even mentioned reportedly to the staff how their son could possibly get seizures due to the mask, yet they promised to make sure that he had one on. But in their daughter’s case, the toddler simply removed the mask to eat.
Several videos of the shocking incident were shared on social media with many disgusted by the airlines’ behavior. When asked why the airlines wanted the family off, their reply was for the reason of being non-compliant with the face mask policy.
Meanwhile, other passengers kept on pointing out how there were other babies who didn’t have masks on, but the crew members failed to listen. “The little girl was only eating her yogurt before takeoff,” another passenger mentioned. But it was all in vain.
“We are done talking. The pilot wants you off so you have to get off,” they added. After that, the steward walked away and mentioned how they would soon be calling the police on board. But then, the airline informed all passengers to leave the aircraft and board again. The family was allowed too and it somehow turned into a very bizarre ending.
